How do I buy an audio magazine (SonicMAG) on
MP3?
- Simply click one of the MP3 options under the
“Buy Audio on MP3” on the left hand side of the page and notice “Audio
Product Details” in the center of the main page displays and details the
product based on your selection. Once you select what version of MP3
you want (High-Fi, Mid-Fi, or Low-Fi) simply click “Add to Cart” and proceed
with “Checkout.”
What is the difference between High-Fi,
Mid-Fi, and Lo-Fi MP3’s?
- The main difference is sound quality which
directly corresponds with the size of the MP3 file. The higher the
quality, the larger the file, and the longer the download. While you
will find very little difference between all three MP3 qualities, High-Fi is
encoded at a 128 bit rate which is CD quality, Mid-Fi is encoded at a 96 bit
rate, and Low-Fi is encoded at a 64 bit rate.
How long does it take for me to download an
audio magazine on MP3?
- The average 80 minute audio magazine is roughly
77MB in total for the High-Fi version, 57MB for Mid-Fi, and 38MB for Low-Fi.
Download times will vary based on your connection type.
- High-Fi
- Broadband connection (1Mb Cable Modem, DSL,
Wireless) then your download times will be around 9-10 minutes
- 56K dial up connection will be just under 3
hours
- Mid-Fi
- Broadband connection (1Mb Cable Modem, DSL,
Wireless) then your download times will be around 7-8 minutes
- 56K dial up connection will be roughly 2
hours and 12 minutes
- Low-Fi
- Broadband connection (1Mb Cable Modem, DSL,
Wireless) then your download times will be around 4-5 minutes
- 56K dial connection will be roughly 1 hour
and 28 minutes
Once I place an order with my credit
card..…then what?
- Once you place a successful credit card MP3
order, you will be presented with a screen that will list the MP3 file(s) to
download. All you need to do is simply RIGHT click the link/file and
choose the “Save Target As” option in the menu and then select the folder
you want to save the file(s). If you order a Compact Disc, you will
receive an order confirmation and your product will be shipped within two
business days.
How do I play an MP3?
- Microsoft Windows contains an application
called Media Player. You can open your MP3 files in Media Player and
listen to your audio magazine. There are many other types of MP3
software players that you can use on your computer to play MP3 files.
Some examples of this are MusicMatch and WinAmp.
How do I copy MP3’s to my MP3 player?
- This depends on the MP3 player you are using.
Please consult your MP3 player documentation for proper downloading to your
portable MP3 device.
When I click “Add to Cart” nothing
happens….what is wrong?
- Our site contains “Pop-Ups.” When you click
“Add to Cart,” a pop-up window will appear to display its contents and will
give you the options to Continue Shopping, Update Cart, or Checkout.
If you have a pop-up blocker application running, please disable this
feature. Once disabled, you will have no problem viewing your cart and
checking out. Our site does not contain any pop-up advertisements so
you can disable this feature for our site.
What happens if my download fails?
- If your download fails, navigate back to our
site and on the main page you will see “Log In” on the top menu.
Simply log in and it will display all of the audio magazines you have
purchased. You can then right click the file(s), select save target
as, select the folder to save the file(s) and begin downloading again.

How long does it take to ship a SonicMAG on
Compact Disc?
- It takes us up to 2 business days to ship you
the CD. We ship via the US Postal Service Domestically and
Internationally. Please note that international shipments are subject
to additional shipping and handling costs and will be displayed at checkout
depending on the ship-to country.
What is SonicMAG?
- SonicMAG is the “label” for audio versions of
popular printed magazines. SonicMAG is distributed via Compact Disc
and MP3 through the web. If you are interested in learning about what
